How To Play

The Idea

A mystery clip plays — song, trailer, or sports highlight. Place it by year. Right? Push your luck with another. Wrong? Bust — everything you placed this turn is swept away.

Teams & The Phone

2–4 teams share one phone, passed around the table. Any group size works. Use a speaker so the whole room hears the clips.

Setup

Pick a mode — 🎵 Songs, 🎬 Movies, or 🏀 Sports — name your teams, and set points to win (default: 10). Tap the game-option pills to change difficulty, era, and more. Each team starts with one revealed card; most recent start year goes first.

Taking A Turn

1. Hold the button, then let go — hold until the gold ring fills. The clip plays on release.
2. Drag the ? card onto your timeline — drop it where the year belongs. Same year as a card you have? Drop it right on that card. Then hit LOCK IT IN.
3. Correct? Choose one more clip for another point, or bank what you've won.
4. Wrong? Bust — this turn's cards are removed, but earlier banks are safe forever.

Coins

• Earn one by shouting the answer as the clip plays — other teams confirm with Named It? +1 Coin.
• Spend one to pass safely — your turn ends and this turn's cards bank.
• Hold three for a bonus point, and keep them. Spend below a multiple of three and you lose that point.

Winning

First to the target wins: 1 point per card (start card excluded) plus 1 point per 3 coins held. The win fires instantly, even mid-turn.

Greed is the game. Three correct placements is three points — and one bad guess from zero. Know when to walk.
