Timeline Frenzy is a music game, not a data business. There are no accounts, no email addresses, no ads, and no third-party trackers. We keep anonymous gameplay statistics so we can see what’s fun and what’s broken.
An anonymous device identifier. A random ID stored on your device. It is not your name, phone number, Apple ID, or advertising ID, and it can’t be used to identify you outside the game. It lets your streaks, badges, and settings survive between visits.
Gameplay events. Things like games started, cards placed, and rounds won, tied to the anonymous ID above. We use these to improve the game.
Approximate location. Standard web requests reveal a rough, city-level location derived from your IP address. We use it only for aggregate stats (like which countries play the most). We never see or ask for your precise location.
Anything you type in. If you enter a player name or city for the leaderboard, it’s shown where you put it. Pick any name you like — we don’t verify it and don’t want your real one unless you do.
We don’t sell or share your data with anyone. We don’t track you across other apps or websites. We don’t show ads. We don’t collect email addresses, contacts, photos, or precise location.
All song audio in Timeline Frenzy consists of 30-second promotional preview clips streamed directly from Apple’s iTunes preview servers, as provided through the iTunes Search API and subject to Apple’s terms for that service. We never host, download, alter, or redistribute recordings, and no full-length tracks are available in the game.
Where a preview isn’t available, playback falls back to Spotify’s official embedded player (per Spotify’s Embed terms). Movie and sports clips play through YouTube’s official embedded player (per the YouTube Terms of Service). In every case the content is streamed by, remains on, and is attributed to the originating service.
Requests to those services are covered by their own privacy policies. If you are a rights holder with a question or concern about content that appears in the game, contact jason@adamantventures.com and we’ll respond promptly.
Everything we hold is keyed to the anonymous device ID. Email jason@adamantventures.com and we’ll delete it. Clearing the app’s data (or your browser storage on the web) also disconnects your device from its history.
The game is fine for all ages and collects the same minimal, anonymous data from everyone. We never knowingly collect personal information from children.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Questions: jason@adamantventures.com.
